As long as Elder Scrolls allows you to move gold then you can obviously trade.

I thought u could? I never played beta but i saw it on youtube u can send gold and stuff

yes you can trade gold in ESO. trading was a bit buggy in beta but it was a known issue they are working on. but when player to player trading failed mail trading worked.

either way, there are more than enough threads for elder scrolls online and discussions around the boards to warrant a subforum, like other games have gotten, so hopefully it will be upgraded around the time goes live.

It's a trading community. If you can trade on ESO then you can trade here. This is what you were being told.
