I started the Elder Scrolls series on Oblivion, then played Skyrim. I need something to pass time until ESO comes out, so I plan on playing Morrowind. Anything I should know about the game before I start playing? I'm played with all dlc, expansions, and overhaul 3.

It's hard to get into but once you get used to it it's the best one, IMO

Slept outside, got attacked by dark brotherhood assassin. Scared the shit out of me, was amazing though. Got me some nice armor to start with. On death taxman now, so much fun.

If you are on pc, you should download Morrowind Code Patch. It fixes literally hundreds of bug.

Both expansions are awesome, so if you ever hit lvl 20+ you should definitely try either one of them (i liked Tribunal more)

Overhaul installs that, but I quit after a hour. I run too slow, attacks miss because not leveled, jump is horrible, too used to pressing skill key once and it casting like ESO.

Is it still in alpha/beta? Afaik it's been alpha for many years.

Boots of blinging speed + magic resistance works well together, or you could just set brightness to the max

Skywind is very alpha, but it seems that Morroblivion is pretty complete. On their site it says Morrowind (and all quests) is finished and they're finishing Bloodmoon and Tribunal. Last update was in January.
You'd have to look into it more, I just kind of glazed over it. I'm pretty far into an Oblivion playthrough atm, then I'll be checking that out

Force recently released a video about this. Might wanna check into that.

Morrowind is awesome though.

Levitate spell ftw.
