I had waaaay more fun playing Neverwinter which was a terrible game. The 4 hours i did play this terrible game i really struggled to stay logged in thinking "it gets better soon" .. It didn't.. I finally gave up, its such a shame i was looking forward to a new MMO but this game is just horrible..

I would like to hear some thoughts on the game from you guys, especially those that likes it, and some pointers to why you like the game.

i actually liked neverwinter but im only up to level 20 in it, i wouldnt say teso is "horrible" but yeah its not entertaining right now, game could be better. The progression feels a bit slow and boring.

I tried pvp last night, and it was a real let down Unfortunately, I feel like the more I play, the less I like it. I was initially very hyped for it.

I was also quite hyped for this game, but so far I found it pretty boring. I didn't really understand why I found it so boring, until I started a new game of Skyrim.
I suggest after playing the beta for a bit people should also try making a new char in Skyrim. The environment, immersion, look & feel of Skyrim is just infinitely better then ESO imo.
I understand that it's an MMO, but instead of making an awesome TES game, they seem to have taken the MMO basics and attempted to build a TES game around it. It could have been so much more.

1st - its beta
2nd - after 4 hours spend in this mmo is just ridic. to make comments

1. Ok, its beta, and there's a chance they work out the full game to something awesome. But that would mean a lot of incredible changes, don't see that happening in ~2 months time.
2. Why? Just because it's an MMO doesn't justify the first 4 hours being garbage. Leveling is a part of the game just as any, so make that good as well.

WoW leveling sucked dick - WoW end game was some of the best at it's peak.

I don't play games to enjoy levelling i play them to enjoy the end result which I'm sure ESO will come through.



I can't think of any mmo in the last 14 years me avidly playing did I ever enjoy levelling.

For me personally the real game is the end game and until then I can't make a proper verdict.

So because it's sucked in other MMO's that means it should suck in this one as well? I understand that end-game is what it's mostly about in MMO's, but people act as if good end game justifies SHITTY leveling.
I fucking enjoyed leveling in previous TES games, why can't it be enjoyable here?
Instead of being stuck in the same crappy pattern every MMO follows, they should've thrown more TES in there and make the leveling actually enjoyable.
Have you noticed the rate of leveling in this game? It's extremely slow. If this doesn't change it could mean hundreds of hours of playing something you don't enjoy just to reach the end game.
Imo this is an enormous flaw in game design which somehow got accepted by alot of the general public. Simply because no-one seems to be able to make MMO leveling enjoyable.
