I found a pretty decent way is to sell all the dragon bones/scales you get, I also aquired a lot of iron ore throughout playing and coverted it all to gold ore, lol I have at least 20k at any given time and hordes of gold bars all over my house
Transmute is an alteration spell, it converts 1 iron ore to 1 silver ore and 1 silver to 1 gold ore.

Sell all the expensive shit you find or enchant iron daggers with banish spell.

Your wife opens a store in a way, you can talk to her once in a while and she will give you gold.

But the fastest way is banish daggers.

This. Craft Iron Daggers, Enchant with Banish. they sell for around 1K depending on skill levels.

Also Alchemy can make you a fortune if you know what you're doing.

But basically you have to learn Smithing, Enchantying, and Alchemy. If you do you'll have very little to spend money on since you can make better stuff then you can buy most of the time. And you'll be walking around with a small to large fortune depending on how much time you spend crafting. hundreds of thousands of gold easily TBQH.

If you insist on playing a character without crafting skills then you might want to think about spamming Transmute to turn Iron Ore into Silver into Gold ore, but the profit margin on that isn't all that high.

Or work on your speech skills so everything is cheaper. But you'll still be operating at a loss even at max levels IIRC.

Or work on your thief skill set/quest-line and rob everybody blind.

Or hell, just quest efficiently and you should find a decent amount of stuff to sell/gold/gear/potions.

If you can't do any of the above, or you don't want to because it's not the part of the game you like... Then you're goign to have some serious money issues.

you can get a pretty penny from doing quests/missions either in the Dark Brotherhood or the Thieves Guild

if your sneak is high enough you can go into stores and just steal everything

I remember seeing that if you go into Belethor's store in Whiterun, put a bucket on his head, steal everything from the store :D

Or if you are really lazy press the ~key and type in: player.additem 0000000f 10000 (with 10000 being whatever number of gold you want)
