What causes you to become a vampire in skyrim? Is there any special attacks or anything like that? And do you go to a church to have it removed or where would I do that?

whenever you get a hit from vampire there's a chance of getting the vampire disease, and there's a specific quest you gotta complete to get cured

if it works the same way as it worked in oblivion

When in combat with Vampires if you become a victim of the spell "Vampiric Drain" you will become infected and the disease will begin to spread.

How to cure vampirism:

- Gain the blessing from any shrine SHORTLY after contracting the disease (a few days in game time)
- Use potion of cure disease
- Acquire Lycanthropy
- Ask a bartender about a rumor and they will direct you to Falion in Morthal. Starts the quest Rising Dawn
