hello you guys, whats some hints an tips you guys can give me on a pure mage character?
im not using armor just cloth maybe some enchanting. i'll be leveling that up slowly.

last time i played this i played warrior sword/shield with a bow also. he got boring as all hell.
because, i did the max smithy/enchanting stuff early an it made the game too easy an boring.
i didnt finish the main quest, only finished the companions before an didnt play it again in along time.

edit*. oh i forgot to say iam playing skyrim, on xbox.

skyrim without mods is no fun anymore.

i would but, all i want to do is beat the main storyline then i'll probably get tired of it an not play it again.
i think i'll also do the mage winterhold quests first also. then if im not too bored by then i'd like to do the dark brotherhood stuff an theives stuff also.

also, i rather play it while kicking back on the couch on the big tv.

all you have to do is to take stagger perk from destruction tree and spam dual cast fire bolts

alright man, last night i got my guy to level 4 an just got over to the college of winterhold.

also, i want some monsters so i'll take conjuring also. maybe bit of restoration for heals.

something i did as a mage to add difficulty/ style is IGNORE the college, beat the main story line using only court mages. this synergizes nicely if you become the thane in each hold, beat the story line as a mage, and THEN do the college. Idk about you guys but being a lvl 10 archmage is kind lame. now if you saved the world, helped the people, and bolstered the coffers of merchants all around the country ( which helps the people even more ) than becoming archmage doesnt make the game seem so unbalanced.

I am archmage and I have no magical talent at all.

yep, i already did all the college stuff already. i got the archmage robes an some mask off a creep that helps me regenerate mana back abit faster.

but the sad part was, i was doin some hard boozein this past weekend an i ended up pawning my xbox to a pawn shop for xtra booze,dope & gas money while i was pis drunk.
i'll have to wait til next week when i get more money to get my shit back out. before i can continue my journeys.
