I tend to switch back and forth between the older red and blue versions. These are retextures though.

If you want a specific replacement, you'll have to go through the armor list and see which one you'd like to see on either faction and then download the file/rename them so they'll replace the in game stormcloak/imperial models. Unless they already uploaded a replacer.

And how would one go about doing that?

Here's the name and directory for the stormcloak textures.
These files would go in your skyrim/data folder that is.

Download the armor you want stormcloak soldiers to wear and then rename the corresponding files to match those I posted.

Or if you want, just go find yourself the armor you want the stormcloak to wear and I'll help you rename the correct files.
