Im not sure how much a fan of the idea I am, I feel like its going to be to crowded, and I'm not much a fan of that.

They will probably do it like in Dragon Nest, with different zones/channels for each area. So it's not super crowded/laggy.

iirc, they said they would be doing it like this. it's a big server separated in multiple channels.

I really like the idea. Unfortunately since it's TES, it's probably going to have a huge following, which will mean if it's zoned people will basically be separated anyways. But, I do like the idea, I'm a fan of it. The point of an MMO for most people is to play with other people and socialize with other people while they play, so if they get a chance to meet everyone else it's a win-win.

i actually remember them saying it's all on same server etc so no matter where you create your character you can meet up with your friend, no matter where s/he created his/her character

ofc i might remember wrong

yeah they mentioned that in a video, but I don't know, the idea just isnt appealing to me, and their reasoning for doing so is just so flawed ._.

Not a fan of it. Especially with Bethesda games. Forgotten Realms games (Dungeons & Dragons) sure.
But after playing Morrowind, Obliv & Skyrim.. I'd rather stay lore & storyline.

from what I've learned, the game takes place a thousand years before skyrim and actually includes events that are mentioned throughout the games and in the in game books and what not.

But heh, who knows, we'll just have to wait and see.
Might as well give it a chance mate.

If there's plenty of room it's a good thing, and as long as there's zones in certain quest area's (Which I'm sure there will be).

Not that I'm going to play it unless it's F2P, but I like the idea.

If that's the case, then maybe reading some or any novels about what happened during and after both games first.. I might be more inclined to try.

I don't like playing in the dark and going on and 'assuming' something took place some time before a certain occurence. I'm more of an archivist than that.
I'm the same way with Witcher games. When the first of those games released, it seems there was alot more missing detail left out of the game and what not.
Then found out Andrzej Sapkowski had written a series yet to full be translated into english. Those are a good read though there aren't many translated. It's why sometime before I was pretty interested in learning Polish.
