I've looked around and I can't seem to find a single guide that has exactly what I need to know.

I have the non-Steam version of Skyrim and would like to know how to install mods. If someone will post a guide or tell me exactly how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Go to a site like skyrim.nexusmods.com

Find a mod you want to try

Download it manually (without their mod manager)

Extract the files and place them in your skyrims data folder

Start skyrim and go to data files

Check the box for the mod you downloaded/put in data folder

just register an account on skyrim nexus (it's free) and download the nexus mod manager. then when you find a mod you want "download with mod manager"

then in your mod manager just double click the mod (iirc) and it will start the installing. that's how i installed all my mod in skyrim
