So in third person my character is about the same height as all the npcs.

But when using the first person camera my vision is literally at their knees. WTF.

just go into console and scale your chara so that he the size of a giant than go to mammoth camp and have epic fights with those giants

When you crouch does it take you even lower than their knees?

It's a common glitch where the game thinks you're crouching. Try sitting in a chair.

If that doesn't work, transform into a werewolf if you have the ability.
