Omg i completely agree!  I think the same thing.  Skyrim is way too monotone.  The world in Oblivion is amazing.  I actually think the world might be a little larger.

I love the combat in Oblivion too, it's a challenge but not impossible.  Killcams are overrated.

i dont get it why people say skyrim's combat system is better, when human/vampire enemies are very weak, unless with 2-h weapons on low lvl on master. and all you do is run backwards and cast spell / swing weapon

tho skyrim has same problem as oblivion had, animals are too strong compared to humans (and in skyrim even bears are harder than dragons).

Morrowind takes a dump on Oblivion+Skyrim combined and for simple reasons, everything in Morrowind is alienated, there is not tutorials and you have to figure majority of the game yourself. When I first played morrowind in 2004 I was confused beyond comprehension of what is actually going on. Creatures, settlements (especially Telvanni and Redoran ones), freaky weapon and the world is so different it truly offers a brand new world to explore. I played Morrowind to the point whole map was explored/I was Grandmaster of all guilds/Hlaalu collected all possible artifacts, etc.
Graphics and menus might not be the best but they are unique and I like it, especially when you get used to it. 10/10 hands down this game brings so much entertainment if you put imagination in it and ignore some bugs/graphics its unbelievable.

Oblivion had many positives, but I thought that the problem was with lack of guilds you can join and it was Humanitized, it wasn't truly that alien world anymore, it had some bits but it resembles earth and monsters are not unique anymore, I also thought that they implemented a bit too many quests that where repetitive (closing all 50 gates etc) and not interesting. Morrowind had very little repetitive quests. I would give it a solid 8/10

Skyrim does have great combat system and graphics are amazing, I also loved the map. But this is very humanized environment, It feels like just medieval times on earth. I also thought Dragons was very uncreative, I mean every RPG has dragons in it nowadays and for me it was probably the worst addition. Story is ok, game is a bit too easy and everything is too tutorilized and reveals you the depth of the game too fast, The depth of history is not as deep as Oblivions or Morrowinds, and sometimes it does feel a bit rushed. The events unfold way too fast, and respawnable dragons are real let off as after you finish main quest they still attack you and towns and it's a real buzz kill. Lack of guilds is wrong step as well, theres few guilds and imho they should of added guilds like Cammona Tong in Morrowind that you can't join but it's still there because it really expands the depth of whole world and story. And quests are pretty repetitive. 6.5/10
