The most fun and balanced way to play the game is to play each major guild/quest line as it's intended spec

So far I started doing Mages College first as a caster which I just finished

Doing companions as warrior next

Theives guild/assasins as stealth

It really stops you being able to do the ultra exploitative speccing all your points into one build then bascially one shotting everything.

So far I've found it to be more challenging (playing on master diff) and it's made each perk point a really important choice. If I commit too many points to magic, when I get to warrior I won't have enough for even the most basic perks.

It's also meant commiting to things like a single armor type, if I go light then It will be harder as a warrior, if I go heavy it will be much harder sneaker. Overall it's just made the game far more challenging and rewarding.

Level 22, completely taking my sweet time with everything so I've barely even done any quests.  I'm on a Blade in the Dark for the main story.  I love everything about it so far, but holy crap even though I die every now and then, everything is SO easy to kill on master difficulty.  I was expecting that I'd want to tone the difficulty down by now, but I want to tone it way up and can't since that's as high as it goes.  And that's despite the fact I leveled illusion all the way to 75 which is already completely useless to me since everything is either undead or too high of a level.

You can make it so the monsters are more of a challenge in the game settings i think.

What the! The game is very hard! I can't stop dying on the lowest difficulty setting so I gave up on the game.
