"Hero Engine"
"The general art style is kind of like RIFT or Everquest 2"
"No first person view."
"The combat model will not be real time due to latency."
"No player housing."
"Hitting the level cap takes about 120 hours"
"Radiant AI will not be present."
"The game uses a hotbar to activate skills like other traditional MMOs."
"Saving the world from the awakening of ancient evil."
"You can't be a werewolf or vampire."

Won't even pretend to be interested in this garbage now. It might have seemed like a good idea back in 2007 but now, countless generic MMORPGs later, it feels mindblowingly pointless.
I mean, what's the point in making an TES Online if you strip away everything that made the series good?

How could they expect to do well when games like Guild Wars 2 or even TERA Online has been out there for more than a year by the time this gets released?

Totally agree, but the name alone will push copies.

Thread needs a slight bump since footage is being shown at E3 today.
I haven't made any judgments on the game yet since we haven't seen gameplay.

game was basically hyped by fan boys. just before it was announced and like a month after it was still hyped a lot, but as you can see, this sub is dead (and imo can be closed)

Sub is dead because it's a single player game.

Personally i'm nervous how it's going to turn out.

I don't want someone pickpocketing my daedric artifacts..
