The actual best way to do restoration is to do the college quest and get up to the labyrinthian, then in there is a book that teaches you the Equilibrium spell, which trades health for magika (you can kill yourself with it). Then set difficulty to the easiest, set healing on one click, equlibrium on the other, and tape your mouse down/rubber band your controller. Walk away, come back a little later and boom, resto 100.

Yeah ps3 is ezpz, that's how I did it. Just rubberband the controller with healing on one hand and equilibrium on the other. Make sure you have the first resto perk and you should be good to go.

But be careful, I'm not entirely sure but at lower levels of restoration it may not heal you for 100% of the health equilibrium takes, even at the lowest difficulty setting. But at the higher levels (60 or so and up) it will for sure, since I was already at 60ish when I did this.

Hmm I've never had that spell, ever, I'm quite ashamed to say, but it sounds awesome.

Or maybe I've had it but always overlooked it.

Yeah once you train resto to 100 with it, you can have infinite health and magika with grand healing or w/e with the perk, then that spell on the other hand (note not the master level dual cast one) and just balance it out to get a positive effect every time. I had to do this one time when i was about to kill alduin, in the area where there are a ton of dragons. I accidentally aggro'd like 3 at once, so most of my time was spent with healing and equilibrium, then I'd do healing+destruction spell, then swap back. As long as you don't get 1 shot, you can survive anything for any duration of time with it.

Archery is a fucking bitch honestly. It's the single worst skill in the game to level, to me. As for sneak mode and casting, pickup silent casting in the illusion tree.

But a bound now has too low a damage value, it will take forever. Just use a epic daedric bow augmented to hell, because skill gains are based on real damage dealt. That means if you lower difficulty in hopes of dealing more damage, it won't work because you already 1shot everything

I was partially wrong about leveling, it's based on damage, but only the base damage of the bow. You can just draw the minimum with a shitty arrow from a now that's not enhanced with blacksmithing and it will give the same amount of xp as if you had a fully enhanced dragonbone bow doing sneak attacks fully drawn.

So now I understand why I've always had a hard time leveling this skill, I had it all wrong. Bound bows doing wimpy quarter drawn shots is what goes fastest.
