The only viable ultimate for REAL AoE grinding is Negate Magic
Try and do that against strong mobs of large numbers and you'll just die.

My Sorc is unstoppable. I run through quests too easy... cleared rift dungeon solo. =p at only lvl 40

negate magic is garbage, im trying it now. for some reason i thought it dealt damage. you must not know about energy overload, turns your auto attack into a heavy aoe attack. i kite and can bring down any size pack in about 2-3 seconds

Well I'm Veteran 10 so if I try to grind without negate magic I die in 5 seconds.
Not to mention your gear breaks in 5 minutes of grinding so you need negate magic so you don't take any damage.

Grinding pre-50 is just child's play.
Should be grinding in public dungeons pulling 12+ at a time.

do you even really ever need to respec? i feel like i have more than enough skill points for everything and i still have like 10 unspent... lol, and only level 34

There are more skills than skill points available in the game.
If you don't go crafting you don't have to worry.

what do you are good selections for spells until vetern? im using 1.crystal frag 2. mages wrath 3. velocious curse 4. fire reach 5. unstable clanfear // ult: energy overload

have a better combo you think would be superior for my purposes? leveling, questing, and grinding (often groups of 3)

Curse is a waste of a slot.
It does the same damage as fragments, isn't instant or stackable, and doesn't offer CC.

For questing I use Atronach, clannfear, bound armor, illustrious healing, mage's fury, crystal fragments
If you don't have a heal in solo PvE you're doing it wrong.
