destro staff DK in mostly light armor is an AoE machine

lock them down with burning talons, then either spray them with fire breath or drop an exploding wall of elements under them. you can  use the standard of might ultimate when its up. nothing survives that.

but its a little harder with flying creatures since they cant be rooted by the burning talons. i use that first destro staff ability morphed to longer range. with a fire staff it shoots a wheel of fire that knocks enemies back. works good for kiting.

why? never considered it. i really use that knockback spell from destro staff a lot. i also  use wall of elements fairly often if i can group mobs up.

Class skills are stronger than weapon skills
The one good reason to use a destro staff is for mob grinding to 50.

well I'm still in the 30's, but I'll keep that in mind going forward.

I know class skills are inherently stronger, but I'm getting a lot of utility out of the destro staff skills for now.
