I would be interested in joining, but don't know if I can pay the 2500 weekly gold dues. I am only level 13 and just bought the game never played it before. So if you don't mind inviting and giving helpful tips to a newb such as a good templar build for leveling it would be appreciated.

OK, before we go further, I need to inform you (and any others reading this topic) the dues have increased as we have increased the quality of our trader(s). This week we have 2 traders in Belkarth, Craglorn. In LOLS, there is a 5K monthy dues (best deal, but no guarantee for a guild trader) and in LOLS2, there is a 5K weekly dues. We are currently recruiting for our LOLS2 guild as it is fairly new and geared more towards having a guild trader and selling. LOLS is geared more towards crafting.
5K per week is not bad considering how much you can make with a Craglorn trader. Yes, being new to the game, gold can be challenging to accumulate. I would recommend doing the daily writs and stealing treasures to earn gold at an early level. As you get higher in levels, the treasures get better and gold is easier to make.
In any case, I will send you an invite when I get home from work. Just read through the MOTD (message of the day) and check us out. You can also check out the website and Twitter as well. There is lots of info about the guilds on the website. You can always leave the guild if you don't think it's for you, but being a part of a large guild is very helpful.
