Took me 2 days of grinding from level 3 to vr1 in the Ebonheart Pact. If you grind at night with a partner (for the bonus EXP), you're almost guaranteed to have the good grinding spots to yourself.

With 2 days of grinding I don't mean 48 hours ingame playtime. I mean 10-12 hours of grinding x2 - don't do quests, they slow you down, even the main storyline (unless you feel you're badly in need of skill points, which you shouldn't be because of skyshards)

It took me 3 months of questing and grinding, about 4 hours a day to get to vr1. That was my first char.. Your best bet is to look up a grinding guide.. As long as you can stand grinding, you could probably get to 50 in a week.

3 months ~4h / day makes it 360h ... srsly what did you do?

I am almost V1 now and this within 1 month - stonefall, deshaan, shadowfen and eastmarch all skyshards, all lorebooks, all dolmen, all caves explored, all areas explored, all worldbosses and all quests done - rift a few quests and bosses to go. Also i have all crafting skills at least 25, provisioning 50
