Dunmer Dragonknight
Resto staff or Fire staff

Fyi after you hit max level AoE doesn't mean anything.

Hmm I haven't tried Dragon Knight or Dunmer honestly. I have always went Breton and tried: Dest staff Templar full dps, Resto staff Sorc healer dps hybrid. Not sure what else I should try. I honestly want MASS dps burst and maybe a melee weapon for a change. Would Dunmer Dragon Knight Fire staff be ALOT better than breton templar fire staff? I assume Impulse is a lot better with Dunmer than Breton. I also assume light armor?

Always went Breton because of the light armor passive and great magicka passives

Dragonknight is fire skills
Dunmer gives bonuses to fire and magicka.
Dragonknight does the most aoe out of every class.
This AoE is improved even more by being Dunmer.

Destro staff is trash unless your class has no AoE (sorc/nightblade)

But like I said, after you hit max level, AoE doesn't mean much.

Resto staff.

Uh ok.. So sorry for being a noob but whats the reasoning behind that? I mean I want to maximize my DPS and resto staff doesn't seem like it fits. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love the resto staff as I can dish out tons of damage and heal myself at the same time, but would like your reason.

edit: ww or vamp for this build?

1) Every class needs healing
2) Resto staff passives are incredibly powerful (free magicka gain, 10% damage increase, free heals)
Works well with Vampire but Vampire is VERY bad for PvE. Hold off on Vampire until you are done with PvE. (Or at least PvP focused)

You need to realize that class skills are way stronger than weapon skills (with some exceptions).
Your weapon doesn't really matter. All you use it for is quick/heavy attacks and they all have similar weapon damage. It's the passives the weapon provides that really matter. And in the case of resto, you get a heal skill too.

It's better if you learn the class and figure it out or it will take you much longer to get good at the game.

destro staff DK in mostly light armor is an AoE machine

lock them down with burning talons, then either spray them with fire breath or drop an exploding wall of elements under them. you can use the standard of might ultimate when its up. nothing survives that.

but its a little harder with flying creatures since they cant be rooted by the burning talons. i use that first destro staff ability morphed to longer range. with a fire staff it shoots a wheel of fire that knocks enemies back. works good for kiting.
