Good idea? it was a terrible idea to have skills based on the weapon equipped. It reduces customization.

Also you have all the skills you're gonna get at level 5 or w/e. Doesn't seem that interesting when getting 80 levels gives you only a handful of new abilities that just depend on your class not your weapon.

It was unbelievably boring to level in GW2 when all you had to look forward to leveling up is running around to events in a different zone.

what every mmorpg out there is a wow clone ... well FF11 came out in 2002 while wow came out in 2004 ... now some people say ff11 is a wow clone .... how so when it came out 2 years before wow, everquest ? i do think that came out before both

Wow is a clone of everquest. Everquest has been going since 1999. They just had a new expansion this year...

Imho it doesn't matter if and what they copy as long as the game delivers fun while playing (long term) There is almost everything on the market and it works, so why don't use it and polish it a bit

I'm not sure if you have seen it in action but the way teso's method works is similar to rogues shadowdancing and druids shapeshifting. You set your hotkeys on a new bar that becomes usable when you equip the weapon, if anything this leaves MORE room for customization. If you have ever played a hunter you'd know there are way too many keybindings to be used at all times, with this method if you were to hit someone in melee with your melee weapon you switch real quick to it and use all of those abilities. What the op did was misinterpret the information and thought it was like guild wars 2 where you had to equip an axe to use axe abilities.

FFXI isnt, and its probably the best mmo ive ever played. FFXI Endgame > Wow's all day

and titan is a lost cause right now, that game isnt being viewed to release till 2016+

even if this would get released at 2020, it would probably be the most played MMORPG until 2030 like WoW is since 10 years.
