It is a dumb move if it is not cross platform. That completely ruins the idea. I guess FF14 and FF11 are the only games that know how to properly do this.

Yea its funny they justify it by saying they are worried about 'fairness' in pvp and pve as people on consoles will have a disadvantage. This isn't an FPS lol and even if that was the case 98% of the people who play don't give a shit and just wanna have fun with their friends.
