Getting unlimited daedric arrows is easy. The two guys in the thieve's guild who practice archery will give you plenty if you us pickpocket to put a daedric arrow in their pouch...

well i played on master too. i only leveled up to 20 something and was never using the best items i could and still 1 hitted everything

also dragons never were a problem, just switch some res boots and or helm, np

That's simply not true.

At lvl 40 with some of the best not exploited gear I can't 1 hit any of the more powerful mobs except with a backstab from a fully upgraded double enchanted daedric dagger with all perks to improve backstab damage and the 2x daamge gloves...

Anyway I preffer to just find ways to make it more challenging. at the moment I'm playing each major guild as it's intended play style, did mages college as a caster, doing theives now as a stealther on the same char. Ads a lot more fun to the game and stops you being able to over commit into one spec thus becoming far too strong for the game to be a challenge.

well i'm not sure how the mobs scale with your lvl, but i did indeed kill them with one shot if i got sneak crit and my bow had no enchants what so ever, nor was it upgraded

mage wasnt even challenging. all you do is spam fire bolt and stagger enemies. as thieve, you just sneak past everything or backstab.

Again, is this on master diff?

Fire Bolt does like 10 damage and doesn't scale in ANY way + it takes quite some time to be able to spam casts without running OOM before killing most of the stronger mobs on master diff.

Even the expert spells CAN'T come close to 1 shotting anything other than the more basic mobs on master diff...

Sneak attacks obviously can but my 340 damage +60 damage of enchants bow still won't one shot the strongest mobs with all the max sneak attack and bow perks

As for mages with stagger - yeah it's stupidly powerful once you get dual enchanting and don't run OOM. For that reason I avoided getting the perk.

i never leveled any char over lvl 30 apart from my khajiit fist fighter, so that might be why i one hitted everyone and why fire bolt actually dealt damage

Lol nfi man, even at low lvl it took my firebolts 20-30 shots to kill anything on master. I had to rely hugely on summons until I got tier two spells and dual enchanting so I had enough mana to actually cast them more than 2-3 times without running OOM.

I know people had this problem in oblivion - if you picked a fighter and played as a spell caster you stayed at level 1 and could demolish the game easily becasue of level scaling... but I'm just not sure why you are having such a different experience to me with SPELLS (they don't scale in damage so not sure how that works)

Have you installed all the patches lately? Perhaps they've made balance changes? I just can't imagine how a firebolt that does 10 damage could be doing even noticable damage to things like bears and sagercats (for me it would take maybe 40 to kill one bear)

Oh well - the scaling with level system has been teh downfall of Morrowind games for a long time. They should do a better job of instead staggering the difficulty of different areas so you can't explor further until you are stronger.

You're forgotting that you can't use enchants on that bow and as you said you need Mystic Binding perk to be it effective on later game.
Few seconds paralyze chant for one is good, more charges and few seconds is enough because it'll take time for enemies to get back up.
