Saw a few articles from yesterday saying that they are having massive problems with Dawnguard for ps3, and it may not be possible to provide a release. Meanwhile xbox is getting Hearthfire in a week...

I feel jipped buying the ps3 version, especially since I have both consoles. I figured I wouldnt want to run my 360 for hours at a time while completing Rimjobs, so I went with the ps3 version...boy was that a mistake.


Anyone else feel completely ripped off by this?

Nope, places don't do stuff like this, they give you 10$ trade in for your version, then want to sell you the same game back for 40$ used.

Plus I have hours into my current ps3 chars.


Really not a huge deal...not worth paying to get a differnet version...to pay to get add on content.

I just feel ripped off for being advertised as getting the same expereince as the other console, then to be told, nah yours is basic, we're gonna give all the goodies to the other one.

Download a free PC version... I have the PS3 version but downloaded it for free for PC because skyrim with mods is skyrim with mods... and skyrim with mods > skyrim...

btw... for any haters of piracy, I never download free games, only ones that I own in a certain way (in this case I have skyrim for PS3 so I deserve to play it in PC).

i have ps3 and am pretty upset about it all... even if they do release it eventually and give us a discount, its still pretty fucked up overall.

I wonder if there's anything Ps3 users can do about it if they end up not releasing any add-on content. The box clearly states that add-on content is available, which is a big draw to buy the game. If they don't come through, is that not false advertising?

They can not release a single DLC, and it's not false advertising because at any point they CAN release it, making the box's statement true.

What I forsee happening is they are going to release the next dlc, i believe it is called Dragonborn, for XBox. Shortly afterwards, probably mid to late 2013, they will finally release the GOTY edition, for both consoles.

I really hope this happens, the GOTY edition of the last two editions of this game were very polished, and worked great. My copy of Oblivion GOTY did not freeze at all, and I play on ps3.
