Hey people. I just got back to Dota2 and i have played quite a few games already. I noticed that it say i need to earn stars in order to up my rank. The thing is that even 3-4 consequtive wins , the stars are the same. Tries to Google it , but i quite dont get the right information. Please help !

if your rank is not showing (badge with stars) where it is just diamond with a ? mark, then it means u might be calibrating. This means you have to play ~10 games to see your badge.
if you badge is showing but no number with a % under it (ie. 55%), then your MMR (shown in your profile -> stats) is below your current badge rank. This means you will have to win several games to boost your mmr thus be in the frame to increase the x% to rank up

Oh i see. So the stars cant drop and instead i have to get up to the current shown star's required MMR in order to see the % . Atm i am on 3% , so i guess i have to play quite more thanks for the info buddy .
