I've had a couple of idiot carries during this winstreak. I even had a mid who just repeatedly fed. Deliberately.
These are situations you have to deal with in dota and change your attitude and playstyle to compensate for or even take advantage of the idiots on your team.
CM is so great because she allows you to do that. She dominates her lane by dealing huge amounts of magic damage and harass consistently. Pulling and stacking at the right times gives your carry solo xp and those stacks later give your carry the farm they need to succeed. Even the most retarded carry will come out of the landing stage ahead of the enemy team if they lane with me. Also her aura gives all lanes a benefit. More mana = more harass to the enemy team etc. So it's not just the spells you're using but the spells you enable your team to use that you bring to the game.
A great support is far more valuable than a great carry. Because great supports make shit carries acceptable. Not just that but with your initiation skills, smart warding around objectives etc. You can dictate where and when fights happen.
Too many people try to carry a game solo. You can do that sometimes but if your team is just shit it's always gonna be a hard game. If you focus on enabling your team to be the best they can be you get much better results. Making 4 mediocre players play better than they otherwise would is just more effective than being one awesome carry on your own.
I'm not saying 13 wins in a row isn't unusually good - it is. But if you're at a rank lower than you should be (like I am after a really unlucky calibration) you can climb so much faster this way.
