I have been spamming Mirana because I enjoy playing her but sometimes she requires 1-2 teammates who are actually good at the game to be on my team.

I started at 2.4k mmr & am up to 3k mmr after 2-3 weeks of playing again.

Outside of the obvious heroes like Tinker & Invoker or just playing a hard carry.
I usually play offlane with PoTM but sometimes I struggle in certain lane matchups.

I think I am atleast 80% winrate with PotM since my return, and she is basically the only hero I play. I guess I am basically p3 most of the time unless my team fails and I become p1/p2.

I’d like to play more heroes but it’s tough for me to do so while also increasing my MMR.

i recommend clinkz mid or luna/jugg/spectre carry, those 4 are easy to learn and not too hard to master

If it's 3k then slark or riki

Cores that can have huge impact on game, not carries who require 20-30mins of farm and team help to do anything.

find about 4 position 3 heroes you can play and then a couple supports too. reserve your offlane pick for as long as possible to get favorable match up. fall back on support when you can't play offlane.
example:
cores: mirana, natures, ench, magnus, weaver
suports : vengeful, silencer
should be able to get to about 5 k with about 3 different heroes

im pretty good on weaver,
played a jugg game (p1), team pretty much sucked and we lost.
played a clinkz game, played pretty well for being warded so hard -- won this one.

For me I find in the lower mmrs to pick a late pick carry and get good/ play good with it. You can never truly rely on getting good teammates but hey it's 50/50. As long as your play is sound your mmr will go up

Clinkz overall is a great carry, just gotta have supports dewarding

just won a game with mirana...
other team had all our towers besides top melee/ranged rax (including t4s)
we had maybe 2-3 outer towers, 30-35 mins in
their team: sf/drow/venge/pudge/cent
ours: mirana/willow/dp/spec/AA

somehow we won

i'm really good on potm, sometimes i just get shitted on and can't do anything about it but abandon the lane
