No incentive to play it back yet.. how's Dota 2 so far?
I qutited the game 6 months ago, didn't follow thru patches.

Is the game still playable - region locks implemented etc or nah?

Dont play int ranked matches. Everything else is same:)

not sure what the meta looks like higher up but at 4k there's a ton of hero variance. It's nice not being able to predict what the other team is going to ban and pick before the game even starts.
It isn't just the compendium quests, either.

That must be in the high 4k cos low to mid I'm getting same heroes nearly every game same as from 2.8k to 4.1k. Jug, pa, pudge, legion, axe, lina, bristle, spec etc. I just ban spec or bristle every game.



Best hero in game. 5 slot sky pop 6 slot str carry late game instantly.

I play nothing but techies in solo ranked and strangely this patch the the only things I see people trying to ban *every* game are axe and techies. Maybe it's because I play late at night so I'm getting matched with chinese players from a different meta
I was expecting everyone to ban spectre but so far no bites.

I see a lot of antimage but that's probably because I end up having to first pick techies almost every game because everyone else on this trash game would rather lose 100 starting gold than pick first.
They should make the team lose mmr instead of starting gold.

I just spam sky. Think I climbed from 2.8k to 4.1k sky mid 98% of games, zeus mid the other 2% and that was only when people refused to let me mid.

I do see a lot of Riki now that I think about it, and if I have to pick 1st or 2nd I do see Weaver picked a fair bit.

if I wasn't still dedicated to trying to climb 1k mmr on techies' plump piggy back I would probably be spamming sky and venge. your carry doesn't have to be good when you're cramming 280 gold down his throat every 90 seconds
