We're at 7...or 6 if one of the teams doesn't pay. Can't really run a tournament with less than 6, though.

Going with 6 (or 7 if everyone pays). I have run tournaments with 6 and 7 players before, so no worries on the bracketing/rules. I need one more team to pay to have 6 participants.

If I receive payment from 1 more team this will be starting. If not I will refund all 5 teams that have paid their 250 fg. The bracket thread will be posted tomorrow if this is starting.

and if we only play 6 teams
we should play this



the top 2 do a best of 3/5 games for 1st/2nd
if we want each round can be a best of 3 so 15 total games and then the final for 1st and 2nd
and 3rd/4th and battle for the 500 fg

if we can do this i will donate the 500 for 3rd place

Definitely will consider. Also still waiting for payment from either of the two teams that have yet to pay...if they don't get it in by midnight PST I'm going to have to cancel, unfortunately.

Yes, I did not get a response from two of the teams that said they were interested (and had not paid the buy-in), so we only had 5 teams...and I don't want to run one with less than six.
I may attempt this again in the future.
