even if the playoffs started with amazing games and teamfighting lineups, it seems the pushing strats are taking over again.. like vici picking furion 3 games in a row (along with more pushing heros)
i really hope we get the hardcarry style of dota back one day... like burnings anti mage 6 slotted and 70 min games with huge fights and buybacks at the end
also exort invo, fuck the necro book strats thats so fucking boring
i hope they nerf this shit one day so we can see some awesome combos with aga build and such again.

no hype this ti for me, even ti3 was better even with the rat dota from alliance

China had the most invited teams (4), and all of them + the Chinese team from their own qualifiers made it to the main event (top 8 out of the 16).

This year has been China-heavy, but it's not that one-sided.




I agree pushing strats can be annoying/boring to watch, but many of the 70 minute+ games from last year were also really slow and boring.

I enjoyed the first day of the main event the most honestly (newbee vs vg and eg vs newbee), I usually prefer when the games are around 30-50 minutes because after that it looks like team get extremely passive/careful because 1 mistake loses you the game.

e/ now that I think about it maybe he can't get down to below 1 hp even if the ultimate didn't go off even though it was started? (during cast time)

Fairly sure it stops all incoming dmaage once he actually starts the split. The cast time getting to the split however not so much

edit: HOLY FUCK THAT KILL ON NP THOUGH. Fucking AA shotgun at its best!
