why is void banned in dota and nobody picks it in hon?

looking at the teams i like EHOME a little more

massive global presence with AA + furion, and storm being able to jump in like anywhere on the map

but i think MYM has some really good initiation, and tinker is a nice global hero to push EHOME's lanes in



even though it got "buffed" in HoN, i think its a little stronger lategame in dota due to bash being being completely rng.

also afaik you can't force staff people out of void ulti in dota (not sure if this works in hon or not)

MYM got out picked. This is going to be a long game and Chinese teams are very practiced in long games.


HoN doesn't like leap froggy heroes. There are less of them than in DotA. They banned him so MYM couldn't have a good way to stop furion/puck/ss/etc. It could even have been a mindgame ban to make them think they were going more leaps/blinks.

Void is more useful in DotA because he hasn't been tinkered with as much. HoN couldn't get void's metagame "just right" and resulted in a discombobulated hero.

because in hon the metagame is pissass boring and everyone run a safe range carry trilane while in dota they dont
