D2R became the exact same business like D2 vanilla was for blizzard.

Every game that has in game currency is botted. No reason to think D2R would be different. With that said, there are three ways you can play D2R:

Solo self found and don't worry about the what the bots are doing.

Buy gear and try new builds or try to get to lvl 99. If you have never actually played a fully built end game character I would recommend this choice.

Buy gear and pvp.

I disagree, Path of Exile is a good example. Whether or not there are still flipping bots it does not 'destroy' the game.

The thing is blizzard got a good income out this mechanic i've stated above, there will always have people to rebuy the game after a ban wave for more botting to feed shop items.

How is PoE any different? You can buy PoE currency for pennies because the game is botted. It is the exact same scenario as any other game.

So you expected blizzard to miss out on more than 50% of their revenue simply so there wasn’t any bots?

At least pretty less than what was D2 vanilla and what is currently D2R. You can really manage to get shitload of currency as legit player in PoE whereas in D2R you can farm for weeks without a single valuable HR.

I'm not against online shop, just sad to face the reality of how fast D2R turned into bot factory.




I'm not sir, just feeling hella disapointed about this whole 20 years same story regarding blizz business and D2/D2R now.

You should be hella disappointed for the changes blizzaed made.

Bots are good and always have been good for the game.

Changes can be patched any time, bots will never be.

The copious amounts of bots some people have is not good for the game.
Like one dude buying 400x copies of D2R with FG (god knows how many he ALREADY has).
Props to you for being able to use all of those copies to the full advantage for profit, idk how they do it tbh.
Game takes up a shit ton of RAM, running 2 copies on 16gb runs like 70-80% memory.
