If you're using insight Merc that means you don't need him to kill much, so go with steelshade and coh. Res, leach, skills, fire sorb. With your bo he should be pretty tanky.

I like using a CoT and duri shell (for cbf) or smoke if you need the res. If you're looking for top of the line, go eth forti+CoT
