I was grushed/power levelled for a bit and havent played a barb in a while, def not since all these changes.

I intend him end game as a trav farmer gold/runes but right now id like to hand level him through acts getting all my quests n what not to get a feel for the playstyle.

Now, to those of you in the know, which build and basic gear set would you suggest for safety first and fun a close second?

In sc i recall leveling as zerker but i dont think thats a solid choice in hc, so im out of my comfort zone here.

I see lots of people start off with singer warcry barb. Just use dual spirit swords and it's easy

A little higher level than you are looking for much ik set on p1 is safe and reliable and fun. Can handle trav too

For trav?
Only completely necessary items are Grief PB + Dwarf Star
Beserker barb, no merc needed

My current set up=

Arreats p topaz
Rhyme Tower Shield
Gold wrap
Skulders p topaz
LoH
Highlords
War travs
2x spirit on swap
B torch
Random Ar/life/max/mf charms

Can get easy all res +75, over capped fire res with LoH and Max Block with rhyme.

I play this build hardcore and have done 500+ trav runs without it feeling sketchy once, bring full juvs though.
