i'm playing a fend zon pvm with teleport & cta on switch. Im rly in doubt about what merc to use for it.

these are the 3 options im thinking of:

option 1. a1 merc cold - great for the fana from faith & cold from the arrow - minimale dmg buff, but added ias and crowd control

option 2. a2 merc might - add in pride and it gives a huge dmg boost. no crowd control tho

Option 3. a5 merc - with beast, last wish, lawbringer or crescent moon (which ones??) - good help in debuffing & dmging mobs

any thoughts on what to invest in?

id do reapers treach guillames build in a holy freeze merc. Decrip will slow monsters and boost damage more than any other build IMO

Option 2 probably cheapest / best, but if you can afford it is totally try option 3with beast and lawbringer. I often find once I'm comfortable with a char, A2 HF Merc isn't needed.

I went for option 1. slow is not awesome, but can sometimes make things easier. the extra speed from fana helps me hit the next frame. still getting the hang of playing it tho.
after some more hours i will decide if i swap to option 2 with pride & holy freeze



wouldnt pride add more dps? i'd feel holy freeze AND decrip might be a bit of overkill? the character is kinda bulky with all the hits and dodges.

i also tried out a build with pride, eth forti & andy and i found the lack of speed (fana adds 3 frames on fend) quite annoying..

will try a reapers build + guillame later as well and will post here.
