Hi guys! Was just wondering with the new mancatcher infinity base into an A2 merc; what is the setup now? I know if we use the same FORT and Andys we free up a socket. But is there another type of optimal build like maybe treachery and Andys to hit another iAS breakpoint? Not sure if theres been disucssions of this yet

What base did you use before? With Thresher or GT you need 75ias for 4.5fpa. Treachery + Andy’s with ias jewel was always the best. Mancatcher allows you to go treach with Guillaume with 15ias jewel for 4.5fpa

I dont have an infinity merc set up yet on ladder; decided to try the new mancatcher since I got eth base for it. So that interesting, I can go with treachery and use guillaume with 1.5ias. Is this most optimal?

Is there some sort of extra iAS breakpoint if I do andys treachery and mancatcher?

Mancatcher ias bp are 52 for 4.5 attacks and the next bp is 102. you could reach that with 4sock armor and 3sock helm all with 15ias jewel. Dunno if it is worth it though

Okay, and I am assuming this set up is better than fort mancatcher andys because more crushing blow from Guillaume?

Thank you kindly brother. I can see potential with the faster attacks with this build. Wonder if there are other variations now. Its pretty cool how different paths open up from a simple "you can use this base for this runeword" now

But there is no lifeleech if you go gface over andy? how do we solve merc not dying?

I just literally ran into this issue. Hmmmm. Hopefully other guy can give insight on this.

Or do we still go Andy's and ral rune this time cause we don't need the iAS.

Bug your merc at Inner Cloister and monster's won't attack him anymore.

Theres already massive CB on Infinity, so you can put anything in an andys. Sure tal is a cheap option, but you could use a cham and not freeze. Etc
