For past more than 10 years i've been playing Sorc and Pally on bnet, for best profitable drops and to be fast as fk.
So I bought D2R for new ladder and maybe later hc wt doing with nekro.

💡 The idea of my question is... what kind of necro and why.

First thought no pure summoner but its too easy and too slow (without enigma) so it's boring...

So I am thinking right now about Nova + CE (bit expensive as starter, but is it viable without eni and dw?)
And maybe Boner (maybe +ce)?

How it feels at pvm? Don't have to be a boss killer, more 85 area clean (pit, tunels, maybe later cows).

What would you say?

Bone necro is pretty good for solo hardcore play
Summon necro is ok but slow as fuck without enigma and not terribly fast with enigma either.

Bone necro as pure or with CE / meat shield?

Poison nova is the most fun IMO. You can run Pits pretty easily with half-decent gear but Enigma and Death's Web are real game-changers, opens up more farming areas and much faster runs. You can run Trang's gloves, belt and "shield" for -25% EPR set bonus which is pretty chunky in hell.

Definitely more a level-clearing char than a boss killer. Taking down a boss with necro typically involves casting Decrepify and getting your merc to do it

With some good equipment you'll be able to shred Cows and Pits, even CS is doable.

Yep. Nova + ce is my endgame goal but im afraid i wont be able to clean as good as i need without nigma and dw. 🧐

PSN Nova is really fun, as I love poison dmg in general

PSN necro for pit or regular mobs and summon necro for bosses.

I am going for 85 area farming, not a boss killer.
