You guys have to help me out. I don't know whats wrong with my friend, i think dying last time was traumatic for him or something. okay, me and a buddy just converted to LOD from classic because with de2r's release classic is truly dead. Now, 2 seasons ago this kid was the #1 ranked player on the ladder for people who didn't ever bot ok and he's good at the game. I don't know what to do because he won't take my advice anymore so I have decided to get public opinion.

Should a sorceress wear lionheart runeword? Is lionheart for a caster or melee char? What are 5 good sorc armors? Anyone have a guide for a sorceress that has an extremely high survivability?



Okay guys help with these questions please. I tried to give him chains of honor and he picked lionheart over it. Just my opinion this armor is at best a merc armor and really is armor you would never use unless thats all you have... I personally would rather use tals set or like i could make a nice list or armors that are more desirable. I have pretty much any armor in the game available to help him with except enigma. And would you say on a blizz (pure bliz) sorc is hoto or deaths fathom w cold facet better? I would use the fathom/facet personally but id even use occy before hoto on this build but the two are about the same; both good.

if you dont have ss as an option what you guys think for shield? I think sanctuary / spirit / mosers / headhunters or lidless / even maybe rhyme or splendor

belt - i rotate verdungos and snowclash depending on what im doing. string of ears also has the huge dr for a belt and we got good old spider too..

gloves - duh frosties/magefist/bloodfist/trang ouls/rare

boota - treks/ inferno stride/marrow walk/ rare etc..

Viper, enigma, ormus(blizz only), coh, gbane for hardcore. Soft core, honestly sorc doesn’t need armor to be good.

Pick depending on what you need or try to aim for.

Enigma is better
Coh is better
Uppd Vmagi is better
Tals Set is better
Guardian Angel is better 😎

Fathom is a fuck ton of dmg. It's BIS without question.

I mean, use whatever you find and afford. Lionheart is good for what it is, but any caster armor would probably beat it. Use it until you get something better, then put it on your merc until you find something better, then give it to a newb or use on new character.

Maybe he doesn't want any items except the stuff he finds himself.

Still, Stealth is better

Stealth is easy to get.

Viper is somewhat easy to find.

Guardian angel is good and very underrated for hardcore.

I use vipermagi on my sorcs 95% of the time because enigma belongs on a character that can not teleport first.

It's good for ladder start. All the str and dex can be viewed as vit. Its better for a caster than say treachery imo. Sure there are better armors but its so cheap its practically free.
