My merc is level 82 and im playing hardcore.

What gear he need to stop dying in hell difficulty

He actually use

Reapers tolls

Smoke armor

Guillaume face

What item i should use and what rune i should put in item he use ?

What do you play as and what aura does he use? Can you upgrade your armor to fort or treachery? Is your reapers eth?

give him a treachery and put an ias jewel in the reapers and the hat

use crown of theives try and look for high life leech.. for helm ..
armor you can use durial shell
socket your reapers and put 15ias and anything else.. personally i like 15 ias and any ed jewl... i wont mention the 15/40 because im assuming if you had that kind of money you wouldnt be asking about how to keep a merc alive..


but this is a good set up.. he will get life leech both from crown and reapers.. and durials will keep him alive and good on res!!

60 level fanaticism
60 level might
60 level all auras possible
Oak Sage
Heart of Wolverine
etc

In 1-1 combat a merc can deal with most guys except enchanted AND cursed guys, so don't let him surrounded

aka teleport

sucks to be hardcore

I prefer Treachery over Fort.

Do the merc bug in Inner Cloister and monsters won't aim him anymore except for ranged attacks.
