I’m casually mfing with a hybrid Javazon/bowzon. I’m not doing this because I think it’s efficient—I know it’s inefficient—I’m doing it because I enjoy the build. Hammerdins, sorcs, etc. are boring to me: to each his own. I’m not trying to make a bunch of fg playing this game or whatever. So I’m committed to this inefficient build, and I have an eth gt with 4os with which to make either a pride or an infinity. Which of these do you think I should opt for? Which would improve my experience, hasten my kill speed, etc. the most? I use jav and bow about equally, depending on which type of monster I’m trying to kill, with a slight preference for (the, I know, less efficient) bow, because I like shooting pointy sticks. First, I love this gunslinger build, so hell yeah man. I did my first self found walk thru with this build and it's great. Very playable for long periods of time (which actually is the least spoken about thing in all this "efficiency" thinking).

Moooooving on-- what is your armor? If you're teleporting with enigma, your pride aura will stay with you. If not, it can be out of range or not keep up depending on play style.

What is player setting? On P1, bow side still pretty strong so pride isn't worth it. On higher player settings pride may be better for you if you prefer to have balance better bow and have.

Also assuming Highlands which helps both but could use atmas for amp to strengthen bow instead of conc from pride.

I think infinity is still best for the hybrid. Makes fury more fun and helps with event defense on bow side

Thanks for the thoughtful response! yeah it’s loads of fun I think. Enigma armor, but I only tele when stuck somewhere. I prefer running around, which is why I’m wearing cats eye tbh (and for the ias). Will mess around with highlord’s but want to find one myself

Nice! I never had infinity on my walk thru, but I did finally make a faith for bow side. Merc used reapers which worked fine.

Makes me want to clear whole games again with her. What is your mf route with this char?

Always Chaos, pindle, shenk eldritch because they’re fun and/or incredibly easy to clear. Then whatever else I feel like doing in any given game. Pit also easy to clear but don’t like doing it that much

I have to concur, infinity gives you best killing speed, which is essential for farming :)
