Im level 56, entering hell.

First time ever playing druid, although ive been playing since og game.

Using:

Freeze act 2 merc (no decent gear yet)

Upd ribcracker
Duress scarab shroud
Loh
Jalas
Goblin toes
Rando res ammy
Ravenfrost
Rando ring
Rando belt
Res charms to not be negative for the most part ( low teens on important res’)

1pt in all the various summons (level 11 average after bonuses) and 5 in bear summons to make a beafier soaker
Nothing elemental
Ive maxed werewolf,fury and im midway through lycan


On most builds i know what to expect entering hell - i usually play casters as well, so this might be why - but im getting surrounded and getting my ass killed in act 1 repeatedly.

Ive read up (thus the barebones knowledge on items to use) and im casting feral rage a bit to leech before spamming fury.

What tactic do you guys use to get around being surrounded and gibbed or smacked down by fast af mobs?

Fury and zeal can be tough since you cant move while attacking. I typically just run away from bigger packs and try to get just a couple to follow so I can focus down the numbers. Easier said than done but there's no real way to just stand in a extra fast/fanat/spec hit champion pack without a ton of damage/leech + dr to try and outheal/outlast the incoming damage. Even harder to just run away on druid without any movement skills (charge on pld). Since you have summons you could also just try to lure with wolves/bear/sage/vine and get one fury in then resummon to distract again, repeat.

Moving constantly between attacks will help but that standstill is tough. Could get shaft/gaze for dr and leech which would help as well.

The beauty behind fury Druid’s is their insane amount of HP and fhr breakpoints.

If feral rage is full, don’t be too afraid of attacking mobs straight up.

56 seems way low to be soloing hell on a melee character though.
