Im playing on HC /p8 as a trapsin, but im feeling a bit stuck. Curremt situation

Stats str for gear, dex non, vita all, energy non

I feel like kill speed is great in nm with mobs but boss killing is sooo slow. Should i try buying claws insted of spirit/ancients pledge for dmg or what is my next move? Merc using partizan insight, rattlecage and steelskull. Open to all suggetions

I think claws are way better personally. Try to shop you some. NM Anya is the spot if you aren't in hell yet. Weapon Block is a very OP skill. Try to get it up to ~59% or so(that's when it starts taking multiple points per %.. Try to gamble you a circlet too. You should be able to get a +2 sin circlet with other stats without too much trouble. Character level matters with it, so don't spend a ton of time on it. You can also get high stat rings this way

Are you using Death Sentry on mobs and swapping to Lightning Sentry for bosses? Death Sentry is kind of weak if no bodies around to blow up.


Once you get claws and levels, think about putting extra points in fade. You get 1% physical damage reduction per 1 hard point spent on the still. If your claws are fast enough, you can lay traps fast with fade on.

At what lvl should i gamble? And alright right Claws it is, should i just go straight for treachery aswell for skills? I use 4 Ls and then i lay 1 Ds on top. What am i looking for in claws 2 assa 3 Ls and ias? Or ami lookinf for Ds?

claws if you're not teleporting for sure. otherwise you spirit pb/stormshield for now and youll get nice DR. If you use treachery with stormshield you get 50% DR which is nice.

I've found trappers to be slower at killing bosses until they get infinity.. Until your traps are dealing upwards of 10k the boss killing will be very slow without infinity.

Try to trade for some cheap plain trap gcs.

claws are fun too but they can be very dangerous in hardcore.

Well at the time being pure damage. Was playing singleplayer /p8 hc and i just didnt have good enough gear for progress and ended up pushing to hard and died! Thanks for the offer tho 😄
