You should rather add guillaume's face to get some crushing blow. He will demolish bosses like he's carrying a lawn mower in front.

But you can stick a 15% ias jewel in the guillaume's to reach 75%.

A Vampire gaze can work fine too and it's kinda higher than a Tal Rasha's mask.





Shaftstop is better than treachery because his resistances grow higher once he hits enough levels. If a hireling cannot kill immunes against holy freeze because he's too slow, then the main character should have a new option to kill him inside the build. For example, undeads can be killed with holy bolt.

You can build any character or merc you want and check attack speed breakpoints, dps, etc

1) What do you mean by the phrase "kinda higher"?

2) Where did you read that shaftstop has resistance increase vs level?

3) What does merc against holy freeze have to do with anything we are discussing here?

4) What do you mean by "kill him inside the build"? Try to clarify your words

¹ Vampire gaze and Tal Rasha's mask make life stolen, but Vampire gaze is kinda higher than Tal Rasha's mask for the damage reduce. One of the top helms for high level hirelings is and always has been Andariel's visage.
² Shaftstop doesn't add resistances, but the damages reduce is useful for new characters.
³ The frozen status makes a lower breakpoint per hit.
⁴ The new option (another skill) as an alternative in the full build can support the immunes.



The best hireling using an ethereal Reaper's toll should be with an ethereal Andariel's visage and, an ethereal Fortitude. Treachery is lame.
