I have 2 Ber runes and a Hdin and a Sorc.

If you were me, would you immediately make an Infinity or wait for the 3rd Ber rune to make an Enigma?

I don't have a Griffon's Eye yet. A further consideration is that I don't have any torches yet either. I don't know if Infinity or Enigma will make the torch farming process more efficient.

The overall context is I'm playing both Hdin and Sorc to get a feel for which I want to go with to push for level 99 when the D2R ladder comes out.

If you just want to get a feel sounds like you could just dupe your sp runes, build both items and then you know what char to you like more.

i would enigma for paladin and stay sorc cold build personally, then you can farm tunnels, pindle, meph andy on sorc and CS with pala

Slippery slope, you could give yourself anything with hero editor at that point. Manually grinding it was a useful exercise to give me an idea of what gear I can expect to afford for the D2R ladder.

After all this, I think the ideal level 99 build might be a Berserk Barbarian. Need Enigma for that too though.
