Hello forum,

Death's Web has a very unusual property in that it reduces enemies' poison resistance by up to 50%, which is quite a lot (especially since this applies after any immunity removal).

Moreover poison damage has this particularity that it applies over time, hence this question: what happens if, say, I successfully hit with Poison Dagger _and only then_ switch weapons to Death's Web? Will the lowered poison resistance apply to the rest of the duration of poison dagger, or is this resistance penalty only applied when the spell hits (which would then make it useless with Poison Dagger)?

I believe it is when it hits, but I could be wrong. Never really thought about it too much in terms of poison. How I view it is similar to a meteor cast. So cast the spell meteor, switch weapons. Does the fire damage/strike change or is it based off of the cast?

if you apply poison damage and switch to death web nothing changes, poison only look at your -res when the damage is first applied. So you have to hit with dweb and then switch out

Which means this is the same for the sorc's Firewall and Meteor I wager?

And what about Thunderstorm?

If u shot an arrow, then switch to dw before arrow hit, than u will benefit from the -50% enemy psn res, and even ow% if u had socet it with Um rune.

If u inflict rabies on some1, then swap to dw u will boost the dmg.
Due to the skill points and facet and negative psn res stats of dw. U will however not inflict stuff delivered by direct dmg such as ow/chance to cast etc.
This is due to the fact that rabies reinflict itself to the target the entire duration. Higher dmg overwrite lower dmg. Lower dmg dont overwrite higher dmg.

Poison rains with Natalya's Totem (Tir, Ral, PerfRuby) and maxedout Poison Creeper, but there is snow within
