Hello,

I started a P8 self-found walkthrough with a fury druid.
I am not too familiar with that toon.

Playing him, i realized that i really like to have:
- the grizzly as a meat shield
- HoW for damage and AR
- Life replenishing vine for sustainability

For all of those 3 skills, anyone knows around what level they need to be for survivability in hell?

- For HoW, i was about to max it for maximum damage and AR (so probably not a problem).
- Grizzly... i would prefer not invest too much so i can focus on my main skills...
- Life replenishing vine... probabably useless at higher level once i have mana leech / fury / feral rage combo...

I am open for any idea!
Remember that i am self-found... so... i dont and wont have a lot of + skills until very late... probably never lol!

Max HoW
1 pt grizzly
1 pt vine if you like those

Imo all you need is max HoW and Fury. Everything else is flexible. Werewolf if you need the levels to reach fastest attack speed, if not it’s just there for AR. Lycanthropy is nice for duration and hp.

Could play around with fireclaw or rabies as secondary, I haven’t tried it cause I’ve always had decrep from merc. Also use spirit sword/spirit shield for prebuff or turning into wolf. Or use a 6 shael PB with secondary attack of fireclaw to deal with physical immunes that fury can’t kill.

Thanks.

Maybe grizzly will be good with 1 point, but i wonder if the life rep vine will survive with only one point... i am currently in 2nd half of act 3 and it dies quite quickly lol. If it is to die that much, i believe i will just save the 2 points it requires to invest them somewhere else... meat shield is good only if you are not consistently casting it :)

The thing with grizzly is that it gains HP from dire wolves and defense from Spirit wolves, soft points(+skills, not actual skill points invested). So with a lot of +skills, it will survive really well.

Is that act2 hell? You will always expect the vine to die cause of its low hp. But it is useful when you’re facing skeletons or souls because you can’t leech from them but vine will still replenish your health.

I’d use spirit sword spirit shield for precast on weapon swap if you’re not doing it already plus you gain a lot of health.

Put 5 points into feral rage and forget vine.

Attack monsters with feral rage until building up your feral ball (5-6 attacks). You should switch back to Fury after that. This will provide an insane amount of life leech
