Okay... Ladder Reset is about to start and I wanted to test my CDKeys and game mechanics after 15 years of NOT playing on B.net. So... I like the runeword Malice ... 3 socket MELEE weapons: Ith, El & Eth. Personally in Norm, I want this weapon for an Act 2 Merc, but I USE to hate the negative -5 life drain. Yup, that is a biatche, well, I made the item testing @ level 17 online Solo, also had an Ethereal 2 Socket Hard Leather armor... so, I put a Skull into it for the +3 Replenish Life... damn, works a treat, now, I know what happens when you are poisoned... so I added a Tal rune for the added 30% poison resistance. Oh man, my merc has 0 Life Leech and still regenerates life... basically the -5 Life Drain is NOT an issue and his life replenish speed means he does NOT need Life Leech.

Now... this makes the runeword (Malice) extremely awesome to use... level 15 Requirement with 100% OW. Oh, maybe some LLD players will take an interest into this runeword (Original Runeword 1.09)

Is this line:

"-5 life drain" means 5 replenish life will nullify it?

Or its maby less leech effectivness?

I never know about.

Also - Malice 100% OW is not so great in early pvm in normal difficulty in my opinion. OW is just there, but not needed at all if u already have more raw damage merc weapon. U got my point.

It actually comes in very handy vs Durial and Diablo in Normal... they can NOT regen from the OW even if your merc dies and you portal to town to revive Merc. Think about it... you are like level 17 vs Durial and your merc ... you are not level 18 with access to other skills at that level etc.

Agree with Diablo norm and Duriel norm part. Them pigs was easier with Malice merc indeed.

Exactly... and with the "Skull" added into the mercs armor... makes it even better... dang... I don't have any Life Leech... wish I had the Necro Helm or is it Undead helm with 5% life leech for the merc... maybe he would not die as easily...

Diablo norm was nr1 party crusher, no matter if u in party or solo, but this is nr1 pig in game haha
Diablo normal tooks so many souls, thats why i mention Malice here - its worth make Malice only to bleed Diablo at normal
