Sup guys,

Always been doing sp hc p8 run here and there but it's been a while since i posted here!
I'd like to make a necro for a change of what i usually go with.
The thing is, haven't played one in over 15 years...

Not quite sure which skills to prioritize during the early progression.
Then as i respec by the end of normal, what's my go to goal for nm-hell skill wise?

The build i'd like to go with is probably some summons/bonespirit/corps explosion/curses - mix but i don't know where the balance is between it all and what is really worthy of spending more skill points into... For example: Golem, 'Yes' 'No'? Which? Why? How many Points? That sort of things...

Share your thoughts if you don't mind!
Thanks :hail:

I don't really play Necros, but most I have seen start off with Skeletons and Amp with Corpse explosion.

Merc wise... normally Might Aura... but you won't get one until Niightmare Act2. Normally I would stay with Rogue when playing all of my character builds (cold) until I get to Hell Act 1... basically I will remake a NM run again, switch to Act2 Defence merc for Might and equip him and MF NM to test him out.

One other route I used was getting Act2 merc in normal and using the runeword for A2 merc weapon that gives 100% Open Wounds, the downside is the -5 to life, so at least have helm (think it is the Necro helm that has 5% life leech) to counter this) and any armor you want... if you are lucky and find an Ethereal Skulders Ire (has repair mod so doesn't break)... either yourself or your merc could use... :D

Thanks buddy
Wasn't really looking to upload the walkthrough as when i do, i do it with too much time invested  I don't really have as much time atm... and maybe a bit lazy to be honest!

Trying to get all my hc p8 class to conqueror then i'll grind the shit out of them through hell. It's kind of fun to just play other class i haven't played since forever.
Only Necro, Druid and Assasin left to be called conqueror at the moment.

If someone has some tips towards a good efficient skill build for early lvl 1-30, then what to respec to as good options... i'd really appreciate ^_^

Summoner. All the way or 1-30,is easiest. Max skells, get clay golem, use amp, get decrip vs Diablo (and duriel if p8).

20 skells
20 mastery
20 ce
1pt decrip
1-20 amp
1-20 clay golem
1-20 summon resist
0-10 revive

Quite easy gear for merc is
Obediance
Treachery
Guillums
He doesn't need ll just life tap when he is running low.

For yourself just as much plus skills as you can combined with mf and resists.

The first four act bosses are easy to cheese with 1 point into clay golem and 1 point into iron maiden.

After that point you should have enough points into raise skeleton and skelly mastery to carry you through the rest of the game.

For players 8 I generally max revive but if you're not using ladder runewords that isnt really recommended as insight plays a huge role in the ability to constantly spam revive.

Without massive rerunning of areas or a good amount of gambling and vendor shopping your plus skills are going to be pretty low, which hurts a lot in act 4 and act 5 hell.

If you play ladder, you can try what I do: get TirTalAmn on a bow (gives level 15 Thorns aura), mix CE/AD with a golem -- drop skeletons, they're not worth the trouble. Merc, get blessed aim and switch to thorns merc + a good bow on nightmare (or go melee...). When level 30, go revive (not too many) and don't forget summon resist.

If you can find the necessary runes and a good armor, switch to Bramble as an armor (RalOhmSurEth) and get a Might merc.

AD is very often overlooked. It is imho the best curse of them all, and it's only a level 1 curse.

Also, 20 points in CE is a waste. Put only as many points in it as the radius you wish for.

And zero points in energy -- not needed!

As to the golem, well, I also hesistate for now... See my post about that.
