Hi there

I'm wondering if it's just me, or there actually is an advantage of attacking monsters/bosses in melee range when using Strafe.

It feels like especially Baal goes down faster when i'm standing on top of him using Strafe.
Is this actually a thing, i mean, do Strafe work as a melee attack when fired in melee range?

I'm aware of the higher effect on crushing blows for melee attacks compared to ranged attacks.

I dont think this is a thing. Maybe the damage just happens faster because the arrows have less distance to travel

 I have to smile and laugh... I used strafe tactic for years on Diablo and Baal, as long as you have good leech, you are good to go, and when you come across monsters when leech doesn't work, you use a life tap wand on them (excluding immune phys).

Not many people would do this, mind you most of the bow users when I was on were Multi Shot lovers.

EDIT: KB is a great thing also, interrupts their attacks and baal is susceptible to this as well.
