is this a wrong setup? what can i do to upgrade?

its doing good but ive seen alot of topics of people using hoto instead of beast

It's about preference. I like the 75fcr BP so i would use spirit shield over homun. I like beast on summonee tho.

Om merc change to guilums face and infinity. Just use life tap when his life is low. Obediance also good cheap option.

Your setup is fine, can be upgraded but very doable.

As a summoner the most important soldier of your army is your merc. With a good merc you can erase anything.
Pride is a bad merc weapon, does no damage and will make your merc very weak.

The best weapon for merc by FAR is infinity. Infy has a great base damage, with some life leech will make him nearly inmortal. If you boost it with some damage auras like might or/and concentration you will have a killing machine.
Conviction lowers Maximum Resist 85%, making your corpse explosion 50% fire and your enchant deal a lot more damage.
Conviction lowers Defense 83%, making hitting all your enemies a lot easier for you and your army.
But wait, there is more!
Infy also has 40% crushing blow, that will kill bosses while you watch sexy ladies and drink tea at the same time.

tldr: infinity is our Lord and Saviour
