First off, I want to apologize for anyone that was tracking my all craft javazon last year. I'm sorry that I have been quiet on the forums since then. Anyway, I recently discovered that big stash now works for 1.14, so I'm considering starting a new character. It would be a slow play, a few hours a week kind of character. Lot of normal and nightmare screenshots because really the builds I play anymore don't go fast and they don't typically survive long in hell.

But since I have no interest in playing "normal" builds anymore, unless they are something I have never played, I wondered if any of you would be interested in reading any of the following:

* 2 handed Conc Barb - Seriously, I've never played this
* Conviction Zealot - Let's play the paladin "wrong"
* Saftey Dance (the remake) - All Safety crafted javazon
* Bloodwolf - All Blood crafted wolf druid


And while I've played both of these in the past, I'm always up for a good sacrifice paladin, dagger barb or magic arrow zon.

Update: After posting this, I'm leaning toward this build:

Conviction Zealer

20 Sacrifice
4-20 Zeal
20 Conviction
20 Sanctuary (Mauso fun times)

The strat would be play ezmode Fire Zeal to Nightmare and then farm the runes for a Voice of Reason.

I see you mentioned level 20 sanctuary. That skill is bugged so the % undead damage doesn’t work at all. Level 1-100 have similar effect where any level sanctuary aura will make undead physical resistance 0% even if it says immune to physical. Great aura just no reason go go past level 1

Oh, good to know. I was completely unaware of this bug.

I should have known that though since I've read the Basin article multiple times. Somehow I missed it in the notes section when I was looking at how damage was calculated.

I think blood Wolf would be too Hard to get good weapon. Would follow all. Maybe make all craft zon instead of only safety? Hard enough but at least have more gems to use.

Since your main damage will be from frozen orb it seems a waste put 20 sacrifice. Maybe holy shield?

I'm not locked into any one weapon. I was just using Voice of Reason for an example of what I could do / would be likely to do in to finish Nightmare. But there are a lot of exceptional maces that would be interesting with max conviction - Sureshrill, Moonfall, Baezil. Also low level rune words like Holy Thunder may be fun for climbing.

Long story short, I plan on relying on physical damage as much as elemental damage since conviction will greatly improve my chance to hit. So having weapons like Black stashed will be a must.

That said, I agree with you. I've been thinking of outlining skills like this:

Sacrifice 20
Zeal 20
Sanctuary 1
Conviction 20
Holy Shield 20
Pre-reqs 8
Defiance <rest>

Right now, I'm just grinding normal tower for starting gear. You know how it goes.

Apparently I'm too rusty and my reflexes are too slow anymore to play melee. I was playing around with a zealot and noob ripped it in nightmare because I wasn't paying the best attention. (This is also why I don't post a character until I have a feel for how it's progressing.) It's obviously going to take me a few tries to get back into this game.

Since I need to play something that is obviously far far far away from enemy monsters anymore. I'm considering a Magic Arrow/Cold Zon. General idea for the build looks like this:

MA - 20
FA - 20
CA - 20
Valk - 20
Critical Strike - 1
Dodge - 1
Avoid - 1
Pierce - 1

Defiance merc for extra tankiness.

Why 20 in MA? There are many cold immunes and that +20 damage is applied before any ED%. I've taken a zon with just MA to Hell LK but that was before I was so rusty.
